Best Day Thus Far

place holder
This was the best day yet on the island. The weather was picture perfect with a high temperature of 79 degrees, blue skies, no clouds and sunny. Just a perfect day for riding.

We started the day departing from St. Peter headed for Cavendish. On arrival , we toured the home of Anne of Green Gables. The home was surprisingly large considering the time period it was built, in the 1800's.

We continued on from Cavendish to Tignish where we are staying in the Heritage Inn which is a former convent. It is a very unique old structure - built in 1868 and closed in 1991. It is surrounded by numerous beautiful flower gardens. It was great to sit in the swing and just relax after the day's ride.

We ended the evening with a fantastic dinner at a restaurant in Cape North with an ocean view.
