Following is the update on our travels on July 9.
We departed Bangor, ME at 8:00 AM headed for Calais, ME where we crossed the Canadian border into St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada. We ended our ride for the day at Shediac, NB. Total distance traveled was about 340 miles.

After crossing the Canadian Border, we were delayed for road repair. The car sitting in front of us was from Cobb County, Georgia. It's a small world!

The scenery through Maine and New Brunswick was mostly tall pine trees and moose crossing signs - although we never did see any moose. We did, however, see a deer and some wild turkeys.
At Shediac, we stayed in a two bedroom chalet.

There's a song that has a line, "what a difference a day makes"-and so true it is. Yesterday it was rainy and cold and today, the sun shining in our window woke us up. Wow! And the temperature warmed up nicely. We saw lots of green trees and straight roads with not much else in Northern Maine. Crossing over the border into Canada was a simple process but then road work slowed us for a while due to stop & go traffic. All in all, it was a good day.
Happy 60th birthday to my brother Lynn. If you see him, harass the "Old Man".
